Police in Bwikara Sub County, Kagadi district, have arrested 39-year-old Benon Twine for allegedly assaulting his mother during a dispute over the sale of a radio set and beans.
The incident happened yesterday when Benon’s mother intervened to stop him from selling the items without her consent, leading to a violent altercation.
Authorities reported that the mother attempted to prevent the sale, which escalated into a physical confrontation.
Officers responded promptly, apprehending Benon and taking him into custody.
By Press time getting a comment from Police over the matter were futile.
